Multilingual surveys are here: Create a better survey experience in multiple languages

People Experience Hub Wins Best Employee Experience Insights Platform 2026 Award-1

If your workforce speaks multiple languages, employee listening can quickly become complicated without the right tools in place.

When surveys are only available in one language, participation can suffer. Employees may be less likely to engage, misunderstand questions or feel excluded from the process altogether.

That's why we've introduced multilingual surveys, giving organisations a simpler way to gather feedback from diverse workforces and ensure more employees can participate in a language they're comfortable with. Based on the new translation functionality available within our Survey Builder, organisations can now create, manage and distribute surveys in multiple languages from a single platform.

Better engagement starts with accessibility

The more accessible a survey is, the more likely employees are to take part.

For organisations operating across different regions, sites or multilingual teams, language barriers can get in the way of meaningful feedback. Making surveys available in employees' preferred languages helps remove friction from the experience, creating a more inclusive approach to employee listening.

By enabling organisations to manage translations directly within our Survey Builder, multilingual surveys can now be delivered without the complexity of maintaining multiple versions of the same survey.

Reach more employees without increasing administration

Creating separate surveys for different languages can be time-consuming and difficult to maintain.

The new translations functionality allows organisations to add and manage multiple languages against a single survey, helping to ensure consistency across every version. Survey introductions, questions, response options, supporting text and ending screens can all be translated, reducing manual effort while keeping the employee experience aligned.

The result is a more scalable way to listen to employees across global, distributed or multilingual workforces.

AI-powered translations for faster deployment

Launching surveys across multiple languages often creates additional work for HR and People teams.

With AI translation functionality available within Survey Builder, organisations can translate survey content more quickly and reduce the effort associated with preparing multilingual surveys.

For organisations that prefer additional oversight, translation templates can also be downloaded, reviewed and uploaded when required, providing flexibility alongside automation.

Create a seamless experience from email to survey completion

Employee listening doesn't start when someone opens a survey. It starts with the invitation.

As part of this update, email templates can also be translated, supported by a new Preferred Language demographic. When a preferred language is stored against an employee, communications can be delivered in the appropriate language, helping create a more consistent experience from invitation through to survey completion.

This means employees aren't asked to switch languages midway through the experience, helping increase clarity, confidence and participation.

Listen to every employee, not just the loudest voices

The best decisions come from representative feedback.

When language becomes a barrier, organisations risk missing valuable perspectives from parts of their workforce. By making surveys easier to access and understand, multilingual employee listening helps organisations gather richer insight, improve participation and create a more inclusive culture of feedback.

Because the most valuable employee insights often come from the voices that have traditionally been the hardest to reach.
